thank you so much! not much is needed, not even regular visits.. Just thank you!!! rc

There's not a day that goes by without thinking about him, or looking at his photos around... There are only two memories, that always, everyday, linger on, Syrka my cat and my ex wonderful girlfriend, Daria, both with beautiful memories, I will cherish for life!

"It hurts to lose a beloved cat, especially when I had
to make the choice to let go. But the last act of friendship
was the most caring thing I could have done for Syrka,
and it says a lot about the special bond that I shared with my cat,
a bond that will leave behind many wonderful memories."

I was always a cat person, and had several cats in the past. Syrka was by far the most amusing, loving, talkative, playful, intelligent cat that didn't act like other cats. He never bit me, or anyone from the family. He never even scratched anyone, but would get into fights with other cats if needed. There are so many photos of him, and videos, but that won't do much for me..

This photo pretty much sums up his true character, he would love to jump up on any table, any height, and make sure to have eye contact with him. Once he would get that connection, he would either start meowing to have a conversation with him. If you wouldn't start talking to him, Syrka would tilt his head slightly, to get a reaction from you... if you haven't reacted to him yet, he would continue to tilt his head until you would finally react! Syrka knew the sound of my car, and every time I would approach he would hear the car, and get ready to greet me. Everyone who used to stay at my place, would notice that, and let me know! :)

a special friend, who always greeted me at the door, waiting patiently for me to come home or wait for me in the morning to get up from bed.

there was a unique bond to Syrka, which I cant say I ever had with all my cats of the past. Sure, each one, like us humans have a character, but Syrka was definitely unique!

I miss him...
every special moment I have, remembering him, I play these two songs...

Gabriel Fauré [1845-1924] - Requiem : 'In Paradisum'

My Dearest Friend.. [Oct 20, 2016] Vivienne Mathews
