She was born in Arlington,S.D.; the daughter oh bert and Thilda(Dahl)Lee.The family moved to Montpelier,N.D. where she grew up and attended school. She married Maynard Tvedt on Oct. 4,1937,in Valley City,N.D. they lived in Sand Prairie,N.D.,and Harwood,N.D. then moved to the Marion area where they lived and farmed. He died Dec. 28,1993. She moved to Hawley,Mn. before moveing to Rosewood on Broadway in 2004
Sh eis survived by three sons Maynard Jr,(Carol), Valley City, Darrell (June),Audubon,Minn. and George (Sally),Marion; two daughters, Pat(Arvid) Decker,West Fargo,and Deb (Harold) Franzen-Adema, Sundance,Wyo.; two sisters,Gladys Ukestad, Montpelier, and Doris Rode, Adrian,N.D. 15 gradchildren; 25 great-grandchildren;1 great-great-granddaughter.
