Nannie Blevins , known to us all as "Big Mommy" Age 86, was born on March 26, 1920 in Knox County, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late Gilbert Abner and Ada Trent Abner. Mrs. Blevins died Monday, January 22, 2007 in the Knox County Hospital. She was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church at Heidrick.
She worked as a cook at Knox Central High School for twenty-seven years before retiring. On November 23, 1938, she united In marriage with J.D. Blevins.
