The Abshire/Odom family is sad to announce the passing of a loved one.

Rebecca (Becky) Delores Abshire was born November 30, 1957, to Ruby Dean Terell and Richard Ball in Albany, GA.

Becky’s mother, Ruby was later married to William Wareham. Becky has one brother: Ricky Ball and one sister: Willa Kirk. Becky has lived in Georgia all of her life.

Becky has six children: John Odom, Jr., Mandi Odom, Kevin Odom, David Watson, William McCullogh and April Calhoun. She is the grandmother of 24 wonderful children and the great grandmother of 31 with an additional 2 on the way. We will make sure they know her through our memories.

Becky was a loving person and in return was loved by many. She was also very generous and giving, she never met anyone that she would not help if they needed her. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She had more friends than could be counted.

On Friday, January 24, 2020, she was called home. Heaven needed an angel with a heart of gold.
