Jerry attended Dallas Schools, 1970 graduate of Sunset High School and raised in the Church of Christ faith. In 1971 he married a Piggly Wiggley co worker, his love Nancy Johnson.
Served his country in the U. S. Army and stationed in Germany. A devout fan of the Beatles, playing guitar and fishing & hunting around Van Zandt County where the Parkers were farmers.
Jerry Don was a blessed surprise to the family as he was only 2 to 4 years older than his 2 nephews. A huge part of his older sibling Peggy and Harold's families.

A simple family man who adored his wife, daughters and grandchildren.

Survived by Daughters: Melissa Parker with grandsons Jordan, Jacob and Joshua Trevino.

Kelly Parker with granddaughters, Bailey & Kinley.
Sister: Peggy Parker Slayton & family
Brother: Harold D. Parker Sr. & family.

Proceeded in death: Wife: Nancy (Johnson) Parker. Parents: Lester & Rose Parker
Twin sisters: Nina & Dina Parker (1945) .

Cancer took him quickly and too soon, we can not change that. Knowing he is with his love, Nancy watching over their daughters and beloved grandchildren is in our heart and soul forever.
