Muncie - Ann K. Aaron, 73, of Muncie, IN passed away Wednesday morning, April 8, 2020 at IU Health, Ball Memorial Hospital of Muncie, IN, following an extended illness. She was born December 5, 1946 in Winchester, IN the daughter of Harold Robert and Charlotte Glea (Black) Wright. She was a 1964 graduate of Monroe Central High School.
Ann received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ball State University of Muncie, IN. She practiced Nursing her entire career, retiring from General Motors in Marion. She had also worked at Ball Memorial Hospital of Muncie, IN and Camp Lejeune, NC. She also had owned Dairy Queen in Yorktown, IN for 10 years. She enjoyed watching all sports, especially football, being an avid Colt's fan. She also enjoyed boating and snowmobiling with her late husband, Bill.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Michelle Ashby Daniels (husband, John) of Muncie, IN; a sister, Linda Price of Farmland, IN; two grandchildren, Taylor Ashby (Brittany Nichols, significant other and Ann's aide and friend) and Johnny Daniels; an a great grandchild, TJ; step children, Barry Kimbrough (wife, Lisa) of Norfolk, VA, Kim Muzzarelli (husband, Marc) of Winchester, IN, Charlie Kimbrough (wife, Missy) of Tampa, FL and Sue Weisheit (husband, Rex) of Jasper, IN and Cynthia Aaron-Worley (husband, Dave) of Elwood, IN; eleven step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Bob Kimbrough and Bill Aaron; two brothers, Bobby Wright and Tom Wright; and a sister, Sondra Wright; and a brother in law, Mike Price.
Due to guidelines established the the State of Indiana in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, private family services will be held. Public services will be held to celebrate Ann's life, but will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to 2nd Harvest Food Bank @ 6621 Old State Road 3, Muncie, IN 47303 or Grateful Rescue and Sanctuary, 4220 N. County Rd. 500 W. Muncie, IN 47304.
