McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Bobby Lee Adams, age 74, was born February 18, 1946 and died June 27, 2020 at his residence in McMinnville following an extended illness.
A retired self-employed truck driver and a member of the McMinnville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder, he was the son of the late Orene and Iris Bain Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timmy Lee Adams, in 1985.
Mr. Adams was married November 1, 1966 to Edith Marie Shoemaker, his wife of 53 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children and spouses, Terry and Kelli Adams of McMinnville, and Donna and Tim Brown of Pikeville, TN; grandson Noah Lee Adams of McMinnville; bonus grandchildren, T.J., Jill and Jake Brown, all of Pikeville, Tn and Kayla Hughes of Lebanon, TN; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30 in High's Chapel with Andy Rogers and Rachel Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery at Mud Creek. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday. There will be no visitation Tuesday before the Funeral Service.
