Memorial services for Paula Alice Adams, age 69, were held at the Salmon United Methodist Church 20 April 1999. Paula passed away 16 April 1999 at Discovery Care Center in Salmon. She was born 24 April 1929 in Billings, Montana, a daughter of George and Lillian Resser. Paula grew up and attended school in Billings. She married Winfield (Penny) Adams in Livingston, Montana in 1949. They lived and worked in various areas of Montana and had four energetic boys together. They moved to Salmon in 1967 where her husband was employed at Cobalt. She loved old time country music, doll collecting and spending time with her sisters. Paula worked for many years as a caregiver for several Salmon residents and was known as a kind and gentle woman. She was preceded in death by her husband and eldest son, Don. She is survived by three sons, Joe, Dale and Bill Adams all of Salmon; two sisters, Grayce Thatcher, Roberts, Montana; Fanny perkins, Laurel, Montana; one brother, Jim reeser, of Laurel, Montana; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Cremation took place. Arrangements were under the direction of the Salmon River Funeral Chapel.
