Ernest N., a sweet & gentle man of OKC passed away Saturday morning, September 23, 1989 at the age of 84. Mr. Abraham was born July 23, 1905 on a farm in Bethel Community outside of Emporia, KS. He left the farm at 18 to go to work for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., a job that he kept for 42 years. He began in the Service Dept. & then worked into management with the last 25 years in the executive area. He was a member of Ridgecrest United Methodist Church & the Crusaders Sunday School Class. Mr. Abraham is survived by his wife of 56 years Ruth of the home, 2 children, a son, Ernest Lee Abraham of Yukon & a daughter, Donna Shutler of Muskogee, 4 grandchildren, Ernie Lee Abraham of Mansfield, TX, Eric Abraham of Yukon, Lisa Price of Henderson, TX & Jay Shutler of Muskogee, 2 great grandchildren, Megan Abraham & Jordan Price, 1 niece, Pat Nelson, Lawrence, KS & several first cousins. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by GUARDIAN WEST Funeral Home. Page: 16
