She departed this life Sunday, July 26, 2020 at her home in Greensburg, having attained the age of seventy-one years, seven month, and twenty days. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Aetna Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired Home Health Aid. She was united in marriage to Barry Absher on September 26, 1966. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, one daughter, two sisters and brothers-in-law, one brother-in-law and sister-in-law , Plus a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Jean Wathen Absher will be conducted 1 p.m., Central Time, Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Gordon Berry officiating and burial will follow in the Aetna Grove Cemetery. A walk-through visitation is requested from 5 p.m. until 8p.m., Central Time, Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the funeral home.
