During World War II she worked at the Kaiser Shipyards in California.
Her first husband, G.W. A bell preceded her in death in 1941; Her second husband, Sammy Kefalinos passed in 1965. Her son, Dewey F. Abell, died in 1993.
Survivors include her son William J. Abell, Dumas, Texas, two great grand- children and three great-great grandchildren.
