On August 16, 2020, Ruth Abad got her wings and went to walk with the Angels to heaven. Ruth Abad was born in Malabuyoc, Cebu, on January 5, 1946.

She Graduated College at Cebu Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Education. She was very much loved by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family friends. She enjoyed attending parties of any kind and loved to dress up in a formal setting. She loved to dance and she enjoyed singing karaoke. She never missed going to the Casino a few times per week to play her favorite slot machine.

She was a hard-working woman. She had two jobs and enjoyed working at Los Amigos Round Up and at Sandia Casino. She was always a happy spirit and loved to go shopping. She was kind and generous.

She is survived by her husband, Bonifacio Abad, and her children, daughters: Mariza Gessman, Rosaville Nussbaum, Arliegh Johnson and her boyfriend, Alvino Maestas; MJ Abad and her partner, Larry Gaylord; Rachel and her fiancé, Robert Rook; her sons: Julius and Ray Anthony Abad; her grandchildren: Ryan Dale and Sharyn Mae Nussbaum, Laurence Abad, Anthony Kavin, Charnelle Allison, John Nicole, Trisha Mae, Mary Joy and John Paul Abad, Shai Liegh Baca, JLiegh Hicks, AnnaLiegh, Heiliegh Johnson, Dicky J and his wife, Nicole Abad; Arianna and Haiko Abad; and her great-grandchildren: Elsa and Leonidas Abad, Miah Hicks and Leiliana Midyette.
