BERTIE MAE MASONER passed from this life December 30, 2003, in the Meridian Nursing Home, Comanche, Okla., at the age of 93.
She was born December 8, 1910, in Alvord, Texas, to Robert and Effie Aaron.
She and Bud Masoner were united in marriage September 24, 1929, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Mrs. Masoner was a homemaker. She was a member of Ferguson Homemakers Club. She was a resident of Hastings, Oklahoma for over 75 years. Bertie and Bud lived on a farm until Bud retired in 1989 and moved to Waurika. She was "Momma Bertie" and he was "Daddy Bud" to their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Lavelle Nibblet of Hastings, and Gwyn Green of Duncan; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Effie Aaron; her husband, Bud Masoner; an infant son, Buddie Robert (#115801638); two brothers; and one sister.
Graveside services for Mrs. Masoner were at 11 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2004, at the Hastings Cemetery. Burial was in the Hastings Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
