Funeral Services for Margaret Evelyn Ardoin, 75, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Whitney Miller will officiate.
Burial will follow at Carter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Monday, September 7, 2020 from 4-9 p.m. with the vigil at 6 p.m. followed by the Holy Rosary. Visitation will resume on Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Verlin, for forty-three years until his passing in January 2008. She was a woman of strong faith and a lifelong member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, joking, cutting up and reading to her grandchildren. Margaret loved and adored her dog, Freckles. She was always smiling and always in good spirits. She never met a stranger. She always cherished facetiming her little grandson, Parker and granddaughter, Brittany. Margaret will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Margaret’s memory include her two sons, Aaron Ardoin and wife, Rebecca, of Merryville and Andre Ardoin of Moss Bluff; one brother, Bobby Weatherford and wife, Sandra, of Lake Charles; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Mable Weatherford; husband, Verlin Ardoin; one brother, Sonny Weatherford; and one sister, Jackie Aaron.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Delores Gradney for all of her love and care shown. Also a special thanks to all of Margaret’s family, friends and neighbors for all of their help during her time of need.
