Survived by his wife, Jayne Melton Parker McCrary, they married June 21, 1994; two step-sons, Mark Parker, and Matt Parker (Amy); three grandchildren, Emma Grace Parker, Grayson Parker, and Anna Parker; sister-in-laws, Judy Owenby McCrary, and Irene Brown Black (Douglas); and brother-in-law, Benjemin "Ben" Brown (Barbara); and many nieces and nephews.
He was an active member of the Little River Baptist Church.
Served during World War 11, United States Army.
Thomas served in Europe until the War was over, then was sent to the Pacific in preparation for the invasion of Japan. The Atomic Bomb stopped the War before the attack on Japan.
He was self employed, Owner and Operator of McCrary Well-Drilling, in his life-time he drilled Wells all over Western North Carolina.
