William L. "Bill" Abbott, 62, died on September 20, 2020 at the Pulaski County Memorial Hospital emergency room in Winamac, IN.

He was born on May 22, 1958 in Monticello, IN to the late Lyle S. Abbott and Anna Lou (Franklin) Abbott.

Bill had lived in the Monticello area all of his life, and was a 1975 graduate. He was an avid race car driver, fisherman and was in construction. Family was everything to Bill.

He is survived by two children; four grandchildren; three sisters; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. William was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Billy Lyle Abbott; brother, Randy G. Abbott; paternal grandparents, Wid and Hattie Abbott; and maternal grandparents, Goble and Virginia Franklin.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home. Paston Dan Hester Jr will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Riverview Cemetery.
