Mrs. Ella R. McKee, wife of N. P. McKee of Los Angeles, former residents of Cedar Rapids, and well known here, died suddenly at her home In that city of cerebral hemorrhage Sunday, according to word received by friends here. She waa about 73 years old. Mr. and Mrs. McKee were residents of this city for twenty years, having left here for the coast about five years ago. Mr. McKee was In the Insurance business. They came here from the old family home in Carthage, Illinois. Mrs. McKee was affiliated with the First Presbyterian church here. She was a member of Ashley chapter, D. A. R . and of the Woman's club. She was socially active, and has many friends in this city. The survivors are the husband, a son, W. T. McKee of Los Angeles, also formerly of this city; a son. Dr. E. J. McKee of Halstead, Kansas, and a sister, Mrs. Alice Aaron of Los Angeles. It is thought that burial will take place in the west.
