Charles "Charlie" Newton, 58, McKinney Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his family farm from a hunting accident.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Lamb Funeral Home with Aaron Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2020 at the funeral home.

A native of Herndon, KY, he was born February 4, 1962, the son of the late Julian Ray Newton and the late Betty Elizabeth (Smith) Newton.

He was a concrete finisher and a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Walton Newton, Hopkinsville, KY; his sons, Jarrod (Samantha) Newton, Greenville, KY, Brandon (Michelle) Newton, Hopkinsville, KY, and Aaron (Elizabeth) Hutchinson, Georgetown, SC; his daughters, Hailey (Ty) Lewis, Beechmont, KY, Cassidy (Brandon) Plesha, and Amanda Hutchinson, both of Hopkinsville, KY; his brothers, Frank (Sharon) Smith, Clarksville, TN, and Julian Ray Newton Jr., Elkton, KY; his sisters, Betty Lou Davis, and Barbara (George) Slacker, both of Pottsville, PA, Judy Goddard, Todd Co., KY, Martha Bedwell, Louisville, KY, Brenda Anderson, Hopkinsville, KY, Candy (Larry) Glover, Tamaqua, PA, Mary (Bernice) Powell, Muhlenburg Co., KY, and Margaret (Roger) Tucker, Todd Co., KY; and 9 grandchildren.
