Orville Samuel Abshire Jr., 77, of North Vernon, passed away at 8:03 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Majestic Care in North Vernon.
Born October 20, 1943, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was the son of Orville Samuel Abshire Sr.
Orville loved listening to music and being outdoors.
He is survived by his guardians, Annette Barnes, Thomas Barnes, Ryan Barnes, and TJ Barnes; and all of the caretakers of Hurley Drive.
A graveside funeral service for Orville will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2020, at Vernon Cemetery in Vernon with Rev. Dale Boyd officiating Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
