On December 2, 2015 our beloved daughter Brittany Lauren Blanton, age 29 passed away, the victim of an automobile accident.

Brittany was born January 24, 1986 in Houston, TX. She spent her High School years in College Station where she graduated from A&M Consolidated Highschool in three short years.

Upon graduation from Texas A&M University in 2007, with a degree in Industrial Distribution, Britany moved to Dallas-Fort Worth to begin her career in logistics. She was residing in Fort Worth, TX where she worked as a Switch Gear Project Manager for Crescent Electric.

Family and friends will gather to honor the life of Brittany Blanton from 6-8 PM on Friday, December 11, 2015, with a reception to follow, at Hillier Funeral Home, 4080 Highway 6 in College Station. A time of Life Story sharing will begin at 6:30. A service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 E. 26th Street in Bryan, officiated by Msgr. John McCaffrey. A reception will follow at the Britt Rice Barn, 1401 Bird Pond Rd. in College Station.

Brittany is remembered most by her family and friends for her infectious smile, contagious laugh, and a giving heart that never met a stranger. She loved spending time with friends and family at their lake house or the beach. She was an avid alumni who never missed any of the Aggie sports. Her passion for her family, friends and work allowed her to live a rich, full life although taken away from us too soon. Brittany is survived by her parents Jeff and Patti (Marek) Blanton, brother, Chad Blanton and sister, Heather Blanton; her maternal grandparents, Alfred and Mary Louise Marek; aunts and uncles, Larry (wife Patti) Marek, Karen (husband Herb) Rohloff Randy (wife Louise) Blanton, Steve Blanton, Mack (wife Jennifer) Blanton and Richard Blanton; cousins Nicole Faldyn, Michelle Strong, Chris Blanton, Ben Blanton, Karl Blanton and Samantha Blanton. Brittany is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Sam and Nelda Blanton.
