Mrs. Loretta Mae Kubik
Mrs. Loretta Mae Kubik, 51, of 1213 Lafayette St., died at 8:16 a.m. at Schoitz Memorial hospital of carcinoma.
She was born on Nov. 25, 1914, in Howard country, the daughter of William and Ellen Mary Clancy Stevenson. She was married to Raymond Kubik in 1937. They moved to Waterloo in 1944. She was a member of St. John's Catholic church and was employed by the Rath Packing Co. She retired in 1962 because of ill health.
Surviving are six brothers, James Stevenson of Spencer; William and Raymond Stevenson of Riceville; Gerald Stevenson of Elma; Clarence Stevenson of 554 Newton St.; Francis of Rochester, Minn; four sisters, Mrs. Mayme Neubauer of Cresco; Mrs. Annie Rance of Cresco, Mrs. Arnold Lane of Cresco; Mrs. Lewis Aberly of Line Springs; and one granddaughter [Kathryn Ann Kubik].
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son [Robert Raymond Kubik , Find a Grave 219881608] and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic church with the Rev. Fr. Clarence Ferring, pastor, officiating. There will be a parish Rosary recited at the Oppold funeral home at 7:30 p.m Thursday.
