Kay Heinzen was born to Marge and Francis (Frank) Heinzen in North Dakota on June 23, 1962. She had two older brothers, Ralph and Robert. She attended school K-12 at Garrison and graduated from Garrison High School in 1980 as the salutatorian of her class. Kay then went to NDSU and graduated from the College of Pharmacy in 1985. She worked for Super X, Cigna, and was working for Sanofi Aventis at the time of her passing. Kay married the love of her life, Jim Ackerman and had three children, whom she loved dearly, Erika, Nicholas and Christopher. Kay died on May 22, 2007 with her beloved husband at her side. There are not enough words to express the sadness with the loss of losing this wonderful person.
