Born in Iaeger, WV October 23, 1959 she was the daughter of Janet Addair Adams of Bartley, WV and the late Arvel Adams.
Lynn was a Christian who loved to go to Church, she attended Atwell Mountain United Church of God. She was the owner and operator of Keene’s Service Center in Bartley, WV. She enjoyed sewing, going to the beach and visiting Light Houses, but most of all spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by three sisters Lucille Owens, Addie Belle “Tiny” Walters, twin Imagene Adams and twin brother Eugene Adams and two grandchildren Abigail Elizabeth Payne, Lyndsie Grace Blankenship.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years Michael Wayne Keene of Bartley, WV; two daughters Jessica Michaelle (Bradley) Blankenship of Raysal, WV, Heather Elizabeth (Wesley) Payne of Yukon, WV. Three sisters Karen Sue Hale of Oakwood, VA, Beatrice L Adams of Bartley, WV, Janet Diann (Randy) Tedford of Raven, VA; two brothers Dean Adams of War, WV and Keith (Sonia) Adams of Bartley, WV.
She was also survived by five grandchildren Lillie Blankenship, Lexie Blankenship, Connor Payne, Aislyn Payne, Elsa Adams and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services for Leona Lynn Adams Keene will be conducted Tuesday December 29, 2020 at 12:00 noon at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Hale, Jr and Rev. Chad Estep officiating. Burial will follow in the Deskins Cemetery on Atwell Mountain, Atwell, WV.
Family and Friends will serve as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home of Keen Mountain after 6:00 p.m. where evening services will be held at 7:00 p.m.
In observance of COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing practicing will be observed, and the wearing of masks is required for attendance.
