Alleta Dodd, 81, of Yukon, OK, went to be with her Savior on January 3, 2021 in Yukon, OK.

Alleta was born March 26, 1939 in Elk City, OK. She graduated from Reydon High School in 1958. Alleta worked at Western Electric, now Lucent Technologies. Her husband, Billy, worked in the same area. Alleta asked him to put a new fence up. This encounter fell right into place and the rest is history. Billy and Alleta were married August 14, 1976. Billy had a daughter, Anna, who was 13 at that time. Alleta treated her like her own daughter. Billy and Alleta had a son, Johnathan, who was born May 31, 1978. Alleta developed polio when she was very young. She wore a brace but that didn't stop her from wanting to do what she wanted to do. After retiring, she enjoyed going places with the Pioneer group. Alleta enjoyed her sewing. She was humble, kind, generous and loving. We will miss her so.

Alleta is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Billy Dodd; her brother, Harry Abbott; daughter, Anna Kruta and husband Gary; grandson, Keith Kruta; granddaughter, Jamie Kruta; son, Johnathan Dodd and wife Christi; twin grandsons, Zaine and Zeth Dodd.

Viewing will be Wednesday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Private graveside services will be held Thursday.
