She was born in Robinson, IL on April 18, 1941 to Charles “Hubert” Abel and Christine Lenore (Guyer) Abel. On October 12, 1958 she married Jack Lee Kilburn who preceded her in death on September 27, 2013.
Bev was a member of the Central United Methodist Church and the Oblong High School class of 1959. Bev was a homemaker. She also was very involved in the church, helping with funeral dinners and wherever she could lend a helping hand. She also enjoyed volunteering at the United Methodist Village, gardening and was David’s “Uber”driver.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law Mark and Peggy Kilburn of Oblong,IL and David Kilburn of Oblong, IL; a daughter and son-in-law Genee and Terry Davis of Robinson, IL; grandchildren Michael Kilburn PHD of Montaque, MI, and Christopher Davis of Marysville, WA; great grandchildren Jackson Corbin Davis and Collin Daniels Davis both of Marysville, WA. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Donna Jo Kilburn of Tuscola, IL along with a niece Wendy Jo Shaffer, great niece Haley Reifsteck, Uncle Murray and Clara Correll.
