James Arthur Abner 76, died February 27, 2021 at Baptist Health in Richmond, Ky. He was born in Estill County on August 28, 1944 to the late Raymond and Daisy Puckett Abner. He was a Truck Driver for twenty years. He loved to fish and hunt and loved U K Basketball. He is survived by four sons; Jeff (Cheryl) Abner, Richmond, Ky, James David (Tessie) Abner, Boiling Springs, North Carolina, Kenneth Abner, and Michael (Tammy) Abner, Winnabow, North Carolina and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Harney Abner. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday March 2, 2021 at Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home with Deanna Case Bowling officiating with burial following in Millersburg Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 11 am – 1 pm. Pallbearers are David Abner, James Allen Abner, Kenneth Abner Jr., Bennie Buckler Sr., Raymond Abner, and Logan Bailey. Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
