Hubert Walter Aber, 80, of Sheffield passed away at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born February 27, 1927 in Buda, son of William and Ethel (Wilson) Aber, he married Hattie E. Pettegrew May 15, 1948, in Bradford. She died March 11, 2005.
He had worked at Sheffield Brickyard and Barcol Overhead Doors in Sheffield. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
He also was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Aber Sr.
Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery in Bradford.
