GOOD CITIZEN DIES SUDDENLY

One of Douglas county's best known and highly respected citizens, Mr. T. S. Abercrombie, died suddenly last Sunday morning at his home in Douglasville, living about two hours after an attack of appolexy.
Mr. Abercrombie was 70 years of age, and had lived practically all his life in Douglas County.
He was a man in whom everyone had confidence, and had lived a life well worthy of emulation.
He was survived by two sons, E. L. of Nichols, GA. and Sanford of Douglasville, and one daughter Mrs. S. C. Harding or Douglasville.
His companion and one daughter having preceeded him to the grave several years ago.
Mr. Abercrombie had been a consistent member of the Baptist Church for 52 years, and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wiley Suttles, his pastor, assisted by Rev. S. T. Gilland at the Baptist church, Monday where a large crowd of friends and relatives assembled to pay the last tribute of respect. His remains were intered in the Douglasville cemetery.
Truly a good man has gone to his reward.
The Sentinel joins a host of friends in sympathy for the bereaved family.
