Conrad's Family moved into town ie. Winnipegosis in 1914 after living at a place called (Adam's Landing also known as "The Fishery").
He was also an accomplished wood worker building boats and houses in the area.
He ran Adam's Lodge at Keystone Fisheries, and he was given the boat "Maple Leaf" by grateful clients.
