Esther Lorene Adams Lytle, age 94, was born April 1, 1927, to the late Edward and Sue Frances Cain Adams. She married James C. Lytle, who preceded her in death in 1989. Esther loved music and played the organ, piano, guitar and mandolin. Her favorite song was "He Stopped Loving Her Today." She was a member of and attended Falmouth Methodist Church until her health declined. She sang in the choir and served on the board. She died at Cedar Ridge Health Campus on April 17, 2021, at 3:40 p.m. The family wants to thank the Cedar Ridge staff members for their kind and loving care, as well as Bluegrass Care Navigators and her long-time caregiver, Lisa Herron.

Also preceding her in death were: a sister, Clara Adams; four brothers, Charles Adams, Ogdon Adams, Tice Adams and Eugene Adams; a grandson-in-law, Randy Greene; and a great-grandson, Joshua J. Greene. Esther and James had: a daughter, Elaine Hart; a granddaughter, Lisa Greene; three great-grandchildren Jade Jones, Eden Buntin and Clinton Greene; and two great-great-grandchildren, Sawyer Jones and Tice Buntin. Other survivors include: a son-in-law, Bill Hart; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation and funeral were held Tuesday, April 7, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Butler. Esther's final resting place is at Riverside Cemetery, in Falmouth. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Humane Society Animal Rescue Service, 659 Philadelphia Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011.
