Brecklyn Ellia Abers, one year old infant daughter of Renae and Chris Abers of Long Prairie, passed away peacefully Oct. 16, 2007, at home in her crib where she loved to be. Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Swanville with Pastor John Grein officiating. Burial was at St. Peter's Church cemetery.
Brecklyn Ellia Abers was born Aug. 30, 2006, at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls to Renae (Lambrecht) and Christopher Abers. She was born with a heart defect known as Truncus Arteriosis. Despite her physical ailment, Brecklyn was always a happy little girl. She always had a smile for everyone. She enjoyed playing games of peek-a-boo and pattycake and loved watching her two older siblings, Braison and McKenna, play around her.
She will be dearly missed by her loving parents Christopher and Renae; brother Braison and sister McKenna; grandparents Kenneth and Cheryl Lambrecht of Burtrum and Frank and Darlene Abers of Villard; great- grandfather Adelbert Lambrecht of Burtrum; aunts Carrie (Dennis) Roering of Long Prairie, Tamie (Jon) Barthel of Long Prairie and Stacy Larson of Burtrum; uncles Jeff (Julie) Lambrecht of Long Prairie, Craig Abers, Chad Abers and Cory Abers, all of Villard.
Brecklyn was preceded in death by her great-grandmas Laura Lambrecht and Elva "Peggy" Wildman; great-grandparents Lea and Lois Weir and Earl and Louise Abers; aunts Tonia Lambrecht, Bonnie Abers and Sherry Abers.
Honorary casketbearers were Devin Roering, Hayden Sturdevant, Cameron Larson, Katelyn Barthel, Ana Sturdevant, Dalton Larson, Hunter Barthel, Tanner Lambrecht, Madelyn Barthel and Aiken Lambrecht. Casketbearers were Jeff Lambrecht, Cory Abers, Jesse Lambrecht, and Brandon Roering.
