Virginia, of Groves, passed away Wednesday at Dubuis Hospital. Born to Frank Manganice and Betty Larusa Manganice, in Orange she had lived in Groves for forty one years. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Lucy Rickard and husband, Robert; two sons, James B. Briggs and wife, Ann and Frank Socia I; sisters, Carrie LaSalle; brother, Fred Lee Manganice; grandchildren, Paul Paris, Jamie Briggs, Frank Socia, II, Charlie Joe Briggs, and Ross Briggs; great grandchildren, Isabella Briggs, Blair Briggs, Blake Briggs, Seth Paris, Paul Jason Paris, II, Kendall Socia, and Dawson Socia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Socia; son, Glenn Socia; daughter-in-law, Cindy Socia; and granddaughter, Lillian Socia.
