MR. Billy Jo Adams of Collinwood, Tennessee died Monday, June 7, 2021 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia Tennessee. He was a retired fork lift operator at Hassell and Hughes Lumber Company, Collinwood, and an avid fisterman and hunter. He was a member of the Conerstone Church in Collinwood.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Wright Adams; son, Curtis Lee Adams; parents, Thomas Lee and Beulah Mae Holt Adams; sister and brother-in-law, Thelma "Jean" Adams and Rex J. Staggs; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Edward "Bud" and Millie Irene Davenport Adams; Brother, Manuel "Dale" Adams; paternal grandparents, John Madison and Janie Elizabeth Johnson Adams; matetnal grandparents, William Thomas "W. T./ Bob" and Mattie Lee Daniel Holt; three nephews, Guinn, Tommy and Steve; and two nieces, Patricia "Pat" and Rhonda; and five brother-in-laws, Abraham Newton "Mann" Staggs, Sidney Robbins, Mitchell Stults, Ron Talley and Ronald Vaden.
Billy Joe is survived by one son, Freddie Lowell Adams, Collinwood; three sister, Mattie "Ruth" Adams Staggs Robbins, Iva "Nell" Adams Stults Talley, Doris Ann Adams Vaden all of Collinwood, and Dorothy Mae Adams Pope (Aaron Neal) of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; and several nices and nephews.
