Irene T. Abacan, 54, of Waukegan, IL, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2020. Irene was born November 21, 1965 in Manila, Phillippines. She was a faithful member of St. Dismas Church in Waukegan. Irene was a happy and joyful person and she loved to see people happy. She always put her loved ones first before herself. Her bright smile and joyful personality will never be forgotten.

"If Roses Grow in Heaven" If Roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away. -Author Unknown

Irene leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Kimberly; brother, Joey Abacan; and sisters, Ellen Jalivay, Jennifer Escala, and Malou Baylon.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Virginia and Ernesto Abacan
