Retired Police Officer and HPROA Member Ralph E. Blount passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife, Donna P. Blount. He is a Veteran of the United States Army. He joined the Houston Police Department on January 24, 1972, Academy Class #53. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Jail, Northeast, and Training Divisions. Police Officer Blount retired on April 10, 1993.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
He was survived by his wife Donna, seven children, 19 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren plus a host of friends.
Ralph loved God, his family and friends. His desires in life were to serve others well and love God completely.
