Thomas was preceded in death by three brothers: Clarence, Fred, and Norman Hampton; three sisters: Martha Parks, Nancy Edmiston, and Lois Jean Hampton.
Thomas attended West End High School where he embarked a career as a brick mason. Throughout his life, Thomas had a passion for farming, coon hunting, and he loved western movies and wrestling. Thomas also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Thomas leaves to mourn his memory, his devoted wife, five children, two brothers, three sisters, one brother-in-law, twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m.
