A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Marie Ann Monette will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 11 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cloutierville, LA. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 5 pm until 9 pm. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7 pm.

Marie was the loving and devoted wife of McKinley Monette, Jr. for 57 ½ years, and to this union, 5 children were born, the late McKinley Peter Monette, Julia Ann Monette (Gene), Joey Monette (Bernadette), all of Natchitoches, LA, Stephanie Bayonne (Harrison), of Cloutierville, LA., and Brian Keith Monette (Jackie) of Winnfield, LA. She also raised two of her grandchildren as her own, Joey T. Monette and Niaya Sharice Monette, both of Natchitoches, LA.
Marie is preceded in death by her son, McKinley Peter Monette; grandson, Joey Monette, Jr.; both parents, Leon and Adelice Rachal; brothers, Erwin Rachal (the late Mattie), John Rachal, Clyde Rachal, and Edward Rachal; sister, Allie R. Aaron (the late Lawrence "Bobby).
Those who remain to cherish her memory include her loving husband, McKinley; her 4 living children, Julia, Joey, Stephanie, and Keith; sisters, Gustina R.
