Janet Ruth Glaser "Sister" Achee

Longtime resident of Livonia, and a native of Maringouin, Janet was born March 31, 1931, and passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011. Her greatest joy in life was having her family around her including her dog, Old Dan. She was the bookkeeper for all the businesses she and husband Leroy ran together. She was also Leroy's travel companion, the light and sunshine of his life. They took many wonderful vacations together. Her caring nature led her to raising five children, as well as helping care for her aging mother, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Livonia and found great joy in her faith and church. She will be remembered for her kind and generous nature to all. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Leroy L.
