MANTEO - Dallas Bernard ADAMS, 52, died Monday, October 2 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was the son of Royaton Adams, Sr. and the late Rosa Lee Collins Adams. Surviving besides his father are his wife, Loretta Winslow Adams; a daughter, Portchia Adams of Engelhard; three sisters: Janice Farrow and Ida Murray, both of Engelhard, and Delphine McMurrin of Manteo; and one brother, Royaton Adams, Jr. of Manteo. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 8 [Saturday was October 7] at Brown Cemetery in Engelhard. The remains will lie in state at Haven Creek Baptist Church in Manteo on Saturday from 11 until 12:30. The procession to leave Manteo to Engelhard for graveside services will follow. Walson Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
