Car-Truck Crash Fatal
A 50-year-old Columbia man, Malcolm Adams, was killed Sunday when his car collided with a truck and trailer on La. Hwy. 15 about four miles north of Clayton in Catahoula parish.
State police here said Adams drove his northbound 1955 sedan into the left lane, striking the side of the southbound truck which was driven by George B. Robinson of Wisner. Robinson escaped injuries.
A passenger in the Adams vehicle, Henry Adams of Columbia, was admitted to the Veterans Administration hospital near Alexandria for treatment of Injuries.
State police said Malcolm Adams was "drunk" at the time of the accident.
