Curtis "Curt" Michael Adams, age 55 of Yulee Florida passed away on the afternoon of Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville Florida.
Mr. Adams was born in Cocoa Beach Florida on October 25th, 1961. He is the son of the late Woodrow and Mary Frances Giddens Adams.
Curt grew up in Orlando Florida and graduated from Colonial High School in 1979. He worked at Disney World during his high school years and loved telling stories of those adventures. He moved to Yulee, Florida with his parents in 1981. He became employed by Gilman Paper Company, where he stayed for 25 years. He also was employed by All Pro Trailers and Omni Hotel on Amelia Island.
He met his wife Marguerite Svendsen in October 1983 and they married December 22, 1984 at Yulee Baptist Church. They have two children, Cody Adams and Britni Adams. Curt was a hardworking and loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed coaching and watching his children in sports. He loved to play baseball and riding motorcycles. He loved college football (FSU), traveling and visiting Disney World. He loved to joke and kid around with everyone and he never met a stranger. He enjoyed history and his knowledge was impressive. He also loved his furry grandson, Cooper.
Curt was raised in the Baptist Church and came from a very faithful family. His wishes were to not have a funeral or memorial. He wanted to be cremated and to come home to his wife. He wants to be remembered as he was and to celebrate his life with good memories..
Mr. Adams is survived by his beloved wife, Marguerite Adams, his children, Cody and Britni Adams all of Yulee Florida, his sisters Darlene (Wayne) Mosley of St Augustine, Florida and Lee Ann (David) Coleman of Goose Creek, South Carolina his Uncle Rodger (Elaine) Giddens of Folkston, Georgia and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
