Glen Albert Carter age 85 of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Carter was born February 17, 1936 in Elliott County, Kentucky a son of the late Willis Kirk Carter Sr. and Lula Brown Carter Ritcher.

Glen was of the Christian faith and retired from Parker Sweeper in Springfield, Ohio. Glen enjoyed spending time with his family, good conversation, trading and loafing with his many friends in Sandy Hook.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one son; Timmy Carter, five brothers: Ora Carter, Elbert Carter, Willis Kirk Carter, Atlee Carter, and Avery Carter. Five sisters; Elby Fraley, Lorene McCarty, Lena Adams, Kathleen Williams and Lucy Meek..

He is survived by one son; Mark (Todd)Carter of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren along with a host of extended family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Whitt & Sons Chapel with Bro. Rick Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott County Memory Gardens in Sandy Hook.

Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
