Betty Suzanne Adams, 77, of Smithfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Aubrey Thomas Adams and Pattie Jeffreys Adams. Betty is survived by her brother, Tommy Adams (Catherine); and her beloved companion of twenty years, Rocky Edge. Betty was graduate of Smithfield High School, Class of 1962. She had attended Bacon's Castle Baptist Church and Westminster Presbyterian Church. A retired flight attendant, Betty had a zest for life. Betty loved to travel, taking trips with Rocky to Greece and The Greek Isles, Portugal, Madeira, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Australia. There were also wonderful trips to the Western U.S including Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, California, Washington and Oregon. She always said that if she could she would be traveling somewhere every day of the year. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021, 2 p.m. at St. Luke's Memorial Park, Smithfield, VA. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
