Carroll "Butch" Abadie, Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 67.
Beloved father of Renee Abadie, Kellie Abadie Greenleaf and Christopher Abadie, Sr.
Son of the late Ursula Monson Abadie and Carroll Abadie Sr.
Brother of Gaynel Abadie, the late Angela Abadie and Lisa Lanosga (Frank).
Grandfather of Garrett Rapp, Nathaniel Rasmussen, Amelia Greenleaf, Deanna, Ava and Christopher Abadie, Jr.
He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
He proudly served his community as a member of the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office in many capacities until his retirement. He is a 1972 graduate of River Oaks Academy and he received his bachelor's degree from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in 1995. He was a native of Belle Chasse, LA.
