Hella Wilma Ruppert Ables, age 90 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away September 30, 2021 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on July 3, 1931 in Wiesbaden, Germany, the second of four children of Fritz and Anna Braun Ruppert. Hella was a faithful member of St. Romuald Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister and team member for funeral meals. She retired from Walmart after 30 years as the manager of the jewelry department and cashier. Hella always had a smile on her face, she loved music and could be found singing and dancing in her home. She kept up on the latest news - both local and national and enjoyed working crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert 'Bob' Ables , son Chip Ables, siblings Irmgard, Adolph and Ilsa.

Funeral services will be held at St. Romuald Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 10 AM with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, 3:30 - 7 PM. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM on Tuesday.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert 'Bob' Ables , son Chip Ables, siblings Irmgard, Adolph and Ilsa.
