Mike was diagnosed with Stage 4 small cell lung cancer on June 13, 2019. He was a true warrior and fought this battle daily for over 2 years and not once did he complain nor did he feel sorry for himself. He always put others before himself.

Family meant everything to Mike. He is survived by his wife of over 44 years, Debbie Acosta, His children and grandchildren, Mike Acosta( Erika) and son Jude(Abby), Jennifer Smith, spouse Greg and children Ashley, Tayler (Brandon) and Isaac, Susan Sanchez, spouse Gilbert and sons Gilbert, Tre and Eli and his last born Brandy Acosta and sons Larry, Logan and Jerry. Also great-grandfather to Jayce.

He was an exemplary husband, father and grandfather who took extreme pride in his children and grandchildren, knowing and loving each of them was the success story of his life.

Mike was thoroughly interested in politics, he was a devoted TRUMP supporter, #1 fan and loved to argue his opinions with anyone, especially his sister Lori.

He will be remembered for his interest in politics, his devotion to TRUMP, his love for hunting and fishing, his unfiltered sense of humor but more importantly for his love and support. We love you and we will miss you tremendously. Until we meet again, "Do you want to buy a flower?"
