Born August 22, 1948, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Ms. Abbott was retired from Proctor and Gamble where she served as a Fire Watcher. She enjoyed watching TV but most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sister, Sandra Jean Watson (Vernon) of Worth County; brothers, James Wesley (Annie) of Lee County, David Wayne of Lee County, Woolard Presley of South Carolina, Thomas Eugene Presley of Oklahoma; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Abbott is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Smith and Rosie Sanders.
