Bobbie Jean Buchanan, 86, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Life Care Center in Columbia, TN. Mrs. Bobbie Jean Buchanan was born on August 11, 1935 in Maury County to Robert(Rob) Pillow and Annie Cheek Pillow. She was married to the late Willie Floyd Buchanan to which they had 8 children. Bobbie Jean Buchanan was employed by Hillview Nursing Home, as a cook, for 16 years until she became disabled.

She is survived by children Deora Elaine Abernathy, Eloise Buchanan, and William(Becky) Buchanan. Stepmother Bessie Armstrong, sisters Brenda Johnson and Debbie Pillow, brothers Larry(Sandra) Maxwell and Steve(Vivian) Armstrong. She had a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Buchanan will lie in state at Baxter Brothers Funeral Home in Columbia, TN on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 3:00 — 7:00 PM and Wednesday December 15, 2021 from 12:00 — 1:00 PM. Funeral services will follow immediately after viewing.
