Clifford Abbey died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Kate Abbey, near Crandall, In Jackson township last Saturday, following a long illness of tuberculosis. He was 22 years of age and is survived by his wife and mother. His wife who was formerly Miss. Mildred Marshall, is well known in Corydon where her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Marshall, lived a number of years.
Mr. Abbey was a member of Crandall Camp, Modern Woodmen of America, and last year spent a short time at the sanitarium maintained by that order in Colorado.
Funeral services were conducted at the family residence Monday afternoon by Rev. A.J. Oster of Milltown, followed by burial in the Wolfe cemetery near Georgetown. The members of Crandall Camp attended the funeral in a body and took part in the services.
