Beverly Correll passed away on February 23, 2022, after a painful and heroic battle with Covid pneumonia.

Beverly was born on April 18, 1932, in Geneseo, ND, to Lillian Grimsrud and Benjamin "Bennie" Aadland. Unfortunately, Bennie died before Beverly was born. Bev and her family moved to Pillager, MN, where Kenneth Grimsrud married Lillian and became Bev's beloved stepfather.

Bev graduated from Moorhead (MN) High School in 1950. Shortly after, she started working at Grosz Studios in Moorhead where she continued to work for over 50 years.

Bev married Lloyd Correll on October 25, 1952. They lived in nirth Moorhead for over 60 years with their sons Terry, Steve, and Faron Correll.

Over the years, Bev excelled at keeping her family happy and well-fed. She was renowned for her beer-battered fish and cream of mushroom soup with whatever wildlife her husband and sons brought home. She was a Cub Scout den mother for 15 years. She also excelled at archery, winning many trophies. She loved living at the lake cabin in the summers where she could relax and read her favorite romance novels, watch the hummingbirds, and tend to her flowers surrounding the cabin. She was a very patient pinochle player, teaching and playing with her grandchildren. They especially liked her great sense of humor, her Happy Meals toys that she got for them, and the collection of state quarters.

Bev and Lloyd moved to River Pointe in Moorhead in September of 2019. She eventually moved into the Memory Care at River Pointe. Bev fought cancer for 10 years with the support of Dr. Ammar Alzoubi. We are grateful for his continual support. After contracting Covid, she was moved to Sanford Comfort Care where she died. Many thanks to the medical personnel for taking such good care of her and making her transition peaceful.

Bev is survived by her husband, Lloyd; three sons: Terry (Karen), Steve (Barbara), and Faron (Helen); grandchildren: Andy (Cara), Stefanie (Josh) Noffsinger, Robyn (Ryan) Carlyle, Katherine (Ike) Anderson, Lauren (Bradley) Hollers, John, Aaron (CC), and Amy; two brothers, Luverne (JoAnn) Grimsrud and Charles (Penny) Grimsrud; great-grandchildren: Allyssa, Avery, Caleb, and Jade Correll, Jacklynn, Mason, and Logan Noffsinger, Rosie and Graham Carlyle, Leland Hollers, and Arya Correll.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ethel Hanson, and her grandson, Timothy Correll.

A celebration of Bev's life will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Moorhead. The visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM, with the memorial service at 11 am. Lunch will follow the service. Burial will be at Fargo National Cemetery, Harwood, ND.
